bloody customs have impounded my batch, well untill i pay the £8 import duty and £16 'we payed the import duty fee for you' charge we get from the post office

Ok, so both the 1243 and the 1646 use 15V (+/-) will i get a problem if i run lots of these ( 10 amps for 5 sterio pairs) from a single source. seen crosstalk mentioned about other stuff, dont think it will apply here, but you never know ... now to try and work out how much juice will be needed for ...

this is studio live room phone amps, so the more i can push them the better ... within reason that is

i am not intending to use pots as its studio use only and i control the mix for each head phone and hence the level. seems i need 1243 for the balanced input (15V gives 24dBu head room) and then a 1646, and this is per channel. off to do some maths and flex paypal methinks Iain thanks for all your w...

im not ignoring this, but i have a problem with my 1176 (nearly finished the build) so trying to get to the end of that (or at least the 112 pages of gumph looking for an answer) but watch out, i will be back and i will have an answer!! prob not the right one, but it will be an answer :D thanks Iain
