Re: A Second Order Elliptic Equalizer for Vinyl Mastering
I wanted to provide an update which includes a rather interesting discovery. Brickwall-limited material becomes "unlimited" when processed by the allpass filter of the EE... https://www.proaudiodesignforum.com/images/jpg/Daft_Punk_Harder_Faster_Stronger_No_EE_300_Hz_Second_300_Hz_First_Co...

ExpressPCB Gerbers
Just found out from their web page that ExpressPCB allows you to convert your prototype layouts to Gerbers: https://www.expresspcb.com/shop/ For "non-members" there's a $60 charge. For "members," which start at $99 annually, the Gerbers are free with every order. DFMNow http://ww...

Jess Greenberg
Remember Jess Greenberg? The former Goldman Sachs summer analyst with a lucrative sideline working her assets on her YouTube channel with 1.2m (mostly male) subscribers? She hasn’t eschewed finance for YouTube after all: she’s just turned up at Winton Capital Management. According to Greenberg’s pu...

Re: Off Grid Power
Wow! It's absolutely beautiful there Paul! I'm inspired to go build a tiny home deep down in the woods. My wife has wanted a studio there. I've had that dream since a kid when the clubhouse on the second terrace got torn down. Your project and wilderness adventure remind me of Richard Proenneke. htt...

Re: A Second Order Elliptic Equalizer for Vinyl Mastering
I'm about to send you a 74 MB file (96 kHz .wav) that has three samples: No EE, 150 Hz second-order and 300 Hz second-order. You can use the No EE segment to compare to your first order EE-77 or I can do a first order/second-order comparison. Dropbox OK? I sent you a link via e-mail or: To download:...

Re: A Second Order Elliptic Equalizer for Vinyl Mastering
I did some Elliptic Equalizer persistent X-Y plots to compare relative levels of vertical modulation. The test circuit is the MS Elliptic EQ with 12 dB/octave Side (Vertical) filtering and Mid Allpass correction. The 6 dB/octave curves and plots do not have allpass correction in Mid. The digital sc...

Re: Anyone have a report on easyeda for PCB design?
I never dug that deep into the Digi-Key platform to know that they owned it.
The more I looked at private projects it looked like you could export and then re-import boards any time.
I'm not sure how it becomes a limitation.

Re: Anyone have a report on easyeda for PCB design?
Thanks Doug.
I'd like to try it.
The only thing I saw on the Free Version was a limitation of two private projects.
The monthly rental version had unlimited projects.
It looks very similar to one that I think Digi-Key sponsors.
