I find they are both really 10 ohms, and 'programmable' means open it up and change a resistor network on a plug.

I haven't looked at the degree of trim on the ASG100 yet, but it is described as having programmable output impedance, which will be very handy. The ASG140 is fixed at 10 ohms output.

I just found myself in possession of two Tektronix signal generators; an ASG100 and an ASG140. Look like very nice units. I see 24 dBu on the spec sheet, so this may come in handy.

Certainly sounds perfect for your needs. I've done a number of jobs on remote trucks as a 2nd or assistant, and relate to the tight space requirements. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent work. Do I understand they are all hardwired for Auto (NLC) mode? Please fill us in on any other specifics of your mods, when you can.
