Plasma Bar Graph Meter Documents for MCI and SSL

Here's a copy of the Signetics NE580 bar graph driver datasheet that I recall being used in the MCI Sony JH-600 light meter scan generator.

I believe that the NE580 generated ramp and the 5-phase drive. The 580's on-chip comparators were not used.

The NE580 was only made for a limited time and I've never been able to find a copy of the data online.

Mitani electronics Corporation bar graph displays were used in the SSL console once the Burroughs became unavailable.

Mitani was apparently marketed in the US by Mitsubishi's Hi-Tech Components and Plastics Company.

MB202-3A 3 Phase The 3 phase Burroughs may have been used in MCI. Mitani also made them. (pdf, 1.5MB)

MB202-5A 5 Phase This was the suggested replacement for the Burroughs BG12205 used in the SSL. (pdf 1.6 MB)
