VCA Associates Datasheets

Post by mediatechnology »

In the crazynightowl Archive I found a data sheet packet from VCA Associates circa 1986.

Among the find was the MTA401 transistor array, the 1537 and 1537A data sheets and the "IMP" Instrumentation Microphone Preamplifier hybrid.
The IMP achieves sonic performance previously found only in vacuum tube and discrete microphone preamplifiers.

The IMP uses VCA associates' MTA401 supermatched, low noise transistor array and the latest surface mount hybrid technology to allow the OEM to fabricate a truly superb, cost-effective transformerless mic preamplifier in a minimum of space, with a minimum of external parts.
