Re: Gentle persuasion over time

New plan, I purchased three of these 4x4 foot plastic composite raised beds to expand my vegetable garden next year. This 3x 16 square foot beds gives an additional 48 square feet of extra garden. This seemed good enough for me to order them, but my overnight design team kept mulling it over and fig...

Re: The Corona Virus Hoax of 2020

I am not sure what you mean by Isolated and purified? Exactly that. Koch's Postulate #2: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koch%27s_postulates Never been done with SARS-Covid-2. No one has cultured the damn thing and apparently no one has even tried to. again unclear... a couple of the more effective r...

Re: The Corona Virus Hoax of 2020

What is amazing to me is the fact that anyone would believe that a diagnostic, therapeutic or vaccine could be developed when the virus has NEVER been isolated and purified. NO ONE has done this. I am not sure what you mean by Isolated and purified? Therapeutics at least provide some scientific evi...

Re: The Corona Virus Hoax of 2020

Suppressing alternate opinions only feeds the conspiracy inclined who already have trust issues. Do you believe that world is responding to a "real" and very deadly virus? It can be deadly, undeniably, how deadly is the question. Hospitals are seeing increased traffic but this is also the onset of ...

Re: The Corona Virus Hoax of 2020

I tried to compare all cause mortality from before COVID but it was difficult to get good comparable numbers.

It is the nature of economists to draw multiple conclusions from the same set of data.

Suppressing alternate opinions only feeds the conspiracy inclined who already have trust issues.

Re: Super Low Distortion Ultra Pure Audio Oscillators Revisited

Nice, you are already tens of dB better than I could even hear.... When dialing in the TS-1 I could just about hear distortion components down 50-60 dB. Which makes you twice as good (in dB terms, that is more like 1000x better in real linear world). I am impressed by how smart DSP can be applied to...

Re: Super Low Distortion Ultra Pure Audio Oscillators Revisited

About digital synthesis, I found this: https://www.analog.com/en/technical-articles/an-almost-pure-dds-sine-wave-tone-generator.html Jumping at the conclusion. They claim: The –120 dBc harmonic distortion figure could be met with a careful design.... I have been synthesizing sine waves digitally fo...

Re: Super Low Distortion Ultra Pure Audio Oscillators Revisited

I understand the objective is ultra low THD+N. How does this analog solution compares with digital synthesis. _Synthesis using a high performance sound card, focusrite, evaluation boards. _Synthesis re inventing all from scratch: High speed clock, Ram holding Sinus data, high resolution DAC, approp...

Re: Guitar Center, Largest US Retailer Of Music Instruments, Files For Bankruptcy

Isn't this their second or third bankruptcy? something like that, they have changed hands multiple times, I don't even recognize the current ownership. They were bought by Bain capital in 07 but now somebody else. The fact that they remain in business at all demonstrates how much extra liquidity is...

Re: variable gain amplifier using analog optoisolators

welcome to the hard part... Over the decades Dbx (now That corp) have published multiple papers about dynamics processing. Simply any gain control is a multiplier so the control voltage modulates (multiplies) the signal so the side chain modulations are audible... Too fast of a release time constant...
