I don't believe even halon is effective for lithium battery fire suppression. Whatever system was in place didn't work. Now imagine if such a facility was permitted in an urban or suburban area, maybe as a "green" backup system for a data center or a hospital.

I recall one of the County officials saying this was the fourth fire there since the batteries were installed.AnalogPackrat wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 8:57 pm More green energy "winning" in California.

Map Shows Rising Home Insurance Costs by State as Climate Risks Reshape the Market

"Extreme weather events." In southern California and Maui it's administrative arson by government. In other parts of the country it's geoengineering to create economic collapse and destabilization.Extreme weather events—like California’s devastating wildfires and a rare snowstorm in the South—are reshaping the U.S. insurance and real estate markets, burdening homeowners with rising costs.
Last week, states in the Gulf Coast experienced an unprecedented snowstorm, with several areas in Florida potentially surpassing the state’s all-time snowfall record of 4 inches, set in 1954. It’s also estimated that the Southern states could face losses of $15 billion to $17 billion due to the storm, according to AccuWeather.
Meanwhile, California is battling unprecedented wildfires. The Palisades and Eaton fires, which scorched a path of destruction in Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and Altadena, continue to burn. Together, they’ve destroyed over 55,000 acres and 16,000 structures as of Friday, with insured losses estimated at $45 billion, according to Cal Fire. Thousands of emergency crews were also fighting more recent blazes, including in San Diego and Ventura County.

That's BS. So my insurance on my cabin in upstate PA will skyrocket because of a hundred year flood event last year but not where my primary home is in south central PA where I'm a stones throw from a flood plain. The median income up there is on the low end of middle class so might as well screw them over some more. Many didn't have coverage for flooding and cant afford it if they wanted.

I can say my neighbors down the road from me at lower elevation just had their property moved into a flood zone and their rates went up as a result. They said screw it and sold and moved away.
They are manipulating the system unchecked.

Re: Stories You Couldn't Post In The Brewery
In mid January we caught the tail end of a huge storm here in Ireland , 750.000 electricity customers spent anything upto 3-4 weeks without power .
People both in private homes and state provided council housing with air to water heatpumps/underfloor heating simply had to pack up and leave because there was no backup heat source available . In the rush for green and clean , houses were built without chimneys or flues , gas cylynders couldnt be found for love nor money and people were forced to leave brand new 'so called' state of the art dwellings .
The other thing was people were forced to undertake dangerous journeys on roads strewn with debris to charge the phones so kids with addictions to social media and internet didnt go stir crazy and start self destructing .
Many didnt realise with the addition of a simple 12v to 5v adapter their vehicle battery could have easily provided a means to charge personal communications devices without the need to put their lives in danger.
This and the story about the Callfornia battery fire shows the people at the very top of this energy pyramid scheme didnt factor in possible down sides ,
leaving the people who invested facing the cost of further updates to make the system fit for purpose .
The other innescapable fact is the averaged personal usage in terms of C02 in California is some 400 times what a person in Bangladesh uses over the course of their lifetime , so the 50% reduction target ,which were struggling to achieve still leaves us with a huge disparity between rich and poor places .
The other inconveinient truth is the hidden cost of getting the resources to make the 'Green' fantasy come true is war in far away places , out of sight ,out of mind .

A new four-lane highway requiring the decimation of tens of thousands of acres of protected Amazon rainforest is being built to carry globalist elites to the COP30 climate summit in the Brazilian city of Belém. https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2025 ... te-summit/

More than 11 million homeowners in the U.S. lack home insurance, leaving about 1 out of 7 homes uninsured in the event of disaster, a new study has revealed.
The analysis from LendingTree shows that 11.3 million out of the country's 82.9 million owner-occupied homes, or 13.6%, are uninsured.
The finding, based on an analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data, comes after several years of rapid insurance premium hikes on many homeowners, leaving some unable to afford coverage. From 2020 to 2023, home insurance costs increased by 33%, rising to $2,530 annually on average, one study found.

Some of those states make sense. WVA is an outlier or something. Me thinks its because of the median income being the lowest in the country since in the earlier article they saw a low percentage of increases. Something interesting about that. Would love to see how that ties together.

Bill Banning Geoengineering And Weather Modification Passes Florida Senate
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/bil ... ida-senate
The bullshit artists and liars* over at the Group DIY Brewery have repeatedly called geoengineering a conspiracy theory yet one state has now banned it. Tennessean's have reported clear skies since it passed there. Now Florida has a bill that's passed its' Senate.
The pricks in the Brewery look as ignorant as they ever did. *(looking at you crazydoc, livingsounds, John Roberts et al)
Twelve states have pending legislation.

Twelve states have pending legislation.
Over two dozen other states, including Kentucky, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Arizona, Iowa, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Carolina, Utah, Wyoming, Alabama, Idaho, Indiana, Montana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Vermont, West Virginia, Missouri, and Maine have introduced similar legislation in 2024 or 2025, and are pending further action.
If you like being lied to and gaslit, if you think locking people up and censoring them for their beliefs that are supported by facts is cool, if you're too important to be bothered with facts and you are an asshole then the Group DIY Brewery is right for you.California based attorney Nicole Shanahan also applauded the bill on X.
“Banning geoengineering at the state level is a good start but real change happens when we expose the bad actors who have been funding these projects and are heavily invested in preventing an end to this at the federal level,” Shanahan wrote. She thanked her former running mate, former Independent candidate for president, now HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “for naming it what it is: a crime.”
In an interview last year, RFK Jr. warned that The World Economic Forum and Bill Gates had “hijacked geoengineering,” with Gates funding these projects around the world.
“They aggravate the problem then sell us the solution,” Kennedy explained, adding that the solution is that “they want is more social controls.”
“Geoengineering is a threat that the environmental community needs to know about and the rest of us needs to know about,” he said.
